These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the admissions system operated by Iganga Secondary School ("the School," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using this admissions portal to apply for Senior One (S.1) or Senior Five (S.5) admission, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the system.

For applicants who are minors, acceptance of these Terms is deemed to be provided by a parent, guardian, or authorized representative.

The admissions system is provided solely for the purpose of:

• Submitting applications for admission to S.1 and S.5
• Managing applicant information
• Communicating admissions-related information
• Supporting administrative and statutory school processes

Any other use is strictly prohibited.

You may use this system if:

• You are a student applying for admission to S.1 or S.5, or
• You are a parent, guardian, or authorized representative acting on behalf of a student

All users must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information.

By using the admissions portal, you agree to:

• Provide correct and verifiable personal and academic information
• Ensure uploaded documents are authentic and belong to the applicant
• Keep your login credentials (if any) confidential
• Notify the School immediately of any unauthorized access or misuse

You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to access restricted areas of the system
• Interfere with the system's security, integrity, or performance
• Use the system for unlawful or unauthorized purposes

All information submitted through the portal is subject to verification.

The School reserves the right to:

• Request original documents
• Reject or cancel an application if false or misleading information is detected
• Withdraw an admission offer at any stage if misrepresentation is discovered

Where application fees apply:

• Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• Submission of payment does not guarantee admission
• The School is not responsible for errors caused by third-party payment providers

All content on this portal—including text, logos, system design, and software—is the property of Iganga Secondary School or its licensors.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the system

Your use of this system is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, and protected.

By using the admissions portal, you consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with:

• The School's Privacy Policy
• Applicable Ugandan laws, including the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019

We strive to keep the admissions system available and secure; however:

• Access may be interrupted due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation

The School is not liable for losses arising from temporary system unavailability.

The admissions system is provided "as is" and "as available."

The School makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• System availability
• Accuracy of automated communications
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iganga Secondary School shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data due to user error or external cyber incidents
• Delays or failures beyond the School's reasonable control
• Decisions made based on information submitted by applicants

The School reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate access to the system
• Reject or cancel applications that violate these Terms

This may be done without prior notice where misuse or security risks are identified.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on the admissions portal, and continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

Any disputes arising from the use of this system shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.
